The Cultural Center of Charlotte County is hosting a new program entitled " Navigating the Retirement Highway". This ongoing monthly series will feature a different speaker each month to discuss and inform seniors on issues relevant to retirement. The next event is scheduled for August 19, 2010 at the Cultural Center at 2280 Aaron Street from 10 AM to 11 AM. The featured speaker will be Mr. Terrance Cerullo. He is the Community Outreach Coordinator representing Florida's Chief Financial Officer, Alex Sink and the Department of Financial Services, Division of Consumer Services. His job is to provide information to assist in Safeguarding Seniors. His duties include being a Health Benefit Advisor, which includes reviewing medical invoices for appropriateness of care, cost analysis, including health care fraud. He also will discuss how Seniors can Safeguard themselves during retirement. He retired from the Coast Guard after 22 years as a Health Services Technician. He received the Coast Guard Commendation Medal for Health Services Technician of the Year and Health Benefit Advisor of the Year. He is originally from Long Island, NY. He received his degree from George Washington University. He and his wife Margaret have two children. Please note the September 16, 2010 talk will feature Mr. Ken Schultz, he is a CLU, and a financial consultant since 1986. He is the author of the book, " Wealth Creation & Protection."
